If you give your life to Jesus… this is what you’ll start to feel.
Before, I used to go out in the mornings… and it was just that, another walk. The same path, the same air, the same sounds. Nothing special.
But now it’s different.
And it’s different because I gave my life to Jesus.
It’s not that the world changed… it’s me who changed on the inside. It’s God who now allows me to see, feel, and understand things I used to ignore.
Now I go out early, walk with my dog… and everything feels different. The quiet of the morning, the fresh air touching my face, the sky still dark as the moon slowly fades away.
I hear the birds… and it’s no longer just noise. It’s like everything is alive, like every sound has a purpose.
The wind passes by… and instead of ignoring it, you feel it.
And in that moment, you understand something you didn’t see before.
None of this is a coincidence.
God is there.
In the air you breathe… in the sky you look at… in every small detail that used to go unnoticed.
And then something changes inside of you.
You begin to give thanks… effortlessly, without being forced.
Thank You for being here.
Thank You for being able to feel.
Thank You for still being alive… after everything you’ve been through.
And even though problems are still there, even though responsibilities don’t disappear… something inside you changes. A joy that doesn’t depend on what you have, a peace that you can’t explain, a simple happiness just for being alive, for feeling, for seeing your family… as if God Himself fills that emptiness you didn’t understand before.
Because all of us, at some point… have gone through difficult moments. Moments where it feels like we won’t make it. Moments where pain weighs more than hope.
And even so… here we are.
And it’s not luck.
It’s the mercy of God.
And when you understand that… you can’t live the same way anymore.
You start to love differently.
Your wife… you don’t just see her as part of your daily life anymore. You value her, you desire her, you want to be close to her, to share, to enjoy every moment.
Your children… you no longer see them as routine. You see them as a gift. You want to listen to them, hug them, be present… because you understand that time doesn’t come back.
And suddenly… everything makes sense.
Not because life is perfect… but because now you can see God in the middle of it.
As the Word of God says:
“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.” (Psalm 19:1)
And it’s true…
But you only understand it… when you start looking with your heart.
Let me leave you with this simple but powerful thought: you don’t need something extraordinary to happen to find God. He’s already there, in the simple things, waiting for you to notice Him.
I invite you to join me in this prayer.
Lord, thank You for opening my eyes. Thank You for teaching me to see Your presence in the simple, in the everyday things I used to ignore. Thank You because when I gave my life to You, everything started to feel different. Thank You for Your mercy, because even through difficult moments, You have never let us go. Help me not to forget these moments, to live with gratitude, to love my family more, and to value each day as a gift from You. Stay with us always… and teach us to walk with You in every step. Amen.
