Sometimes it’s not that you don’t want to get closer to God… it’s that you don’t know where to start.
The Bible can feel overwhelming, and if you begin without guidance, it’s easy to get lost. But when there’s a clear order, everything starts to make sense.
This is a simple path for beginners: first you get to know Jesus, then you understand your faith, and finally you begin to grasp the rest of the Bible.

PRACTICAL GUIDE TO READING THE BIBLE
Daily time
10 to 15 minutes a day is enough. You don’t need more… you need consistency.
Before you start
Say a short prayer:
“Lord, speak to me today through Your Word.”
How to read
Don’t rush. Read slowly and focus on understanding, not just finishing.
If you don’t understand something
Don’t get frustrated. Keep going and come back to it later.
What to do with what stands out
Highlight or save the verses that speak to your heart. That’s what God wants to work in you.
Make it a habit
Read at the same time every day. It helps you stay consistent.
If you miss a day
Don’t quit. Don’t restart… just continue.
Take this reflection and keep it in your heart:
God is not asking you to understand the entire Bible in one day. He is inviting you to know Him step by step. And when you start in the right place, His Word stops being confusing… and becomes alive.
I invite you to join me in this prayer:
Lord, guide me through Your Word. Teach me to read with understanding and with a willing heart. Help me not to give up and to find You on every page. Amen.
