Our Father who is in heaven,
today I come before You with a sincere heart, recognizing that I need You.
Lord, I am about to make an important decision, and I don’t want to do it guided only by my emotions, my fears, or my own thoughts.
I want to do it with You.
Give me clarity where there is confusion.
Give me peace where there is doubt.
Give me direction when I don’t know which path to take.
Close the doors that are not from You, even if I don’t understand it.
And open those that are part of Your purpose for my life.
Help me to have patience to wait for Your timing,
and humility to accept Your will, even if it’s not what I expected.
Remove all haste, all anxiety, and all fear,
and fill me with confidence, knowing that You see what I cannot see.
Lord, I want to make decisions that honor You,
that bless my life and the lives of those around me.
Guide me with Your wisdom,
and teach me to listen to You in the silence.
Walk with me in every step,
and do not allow me to drift away from Your path.
I ask You all of this in the name of Christ Jesus, amen.
