We are living in a time where technology is advancing faster than many people can process. Artificial Intelligence is everywhere: in our phones, at work, in videos, on social media\u2026 and yes, it has even reached spaces where we never imagined it would be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And it\u2019s normal for many Christians to feel fear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Some say, \u201cthis doesn\u2019t come from God.\u201d
Others think, \u201cthis could replace people.\u201d
And some even believe that using it is a sin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But if we\u2019re honest\u2026 before taking such a strong position, we need to do something we must never forget: go back to the Word of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because the Bible doesn\u2019t mention Artificial Intelligence specifically\u2026 but it does give us clear principles to discern anything new.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And this is where we begin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Bible says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI have the right to do anything,\u201d you say\u2014but not everything is beneficial. \u201cI have the right to do anything,\u201d you say\u2014but not everything is constructive. (1 Corinthians 10:23)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n This is key.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Not everything that exists is automatically a sin\u2026 but not everything that exists is good for our spiritual life either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n So the right question is not: The right question is: Because the tool itself has no soul, no intention, no morality. A knife can be used to prepare food\u2026 or to harm. Artificial Intelligence works in a similar way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Now, there is something we must clearly understand: fear does not come from God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cFor God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-discipline.\u201d (2 Timothy 1:7)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n God does not want us to live paralyzed by fear of what is new.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Every generation has faced advances that seemed dangerous: the printing press, the radio, television, the internet\u2026 and now Artificial Intelligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And in every stage, there were believers who said, \u201cthis is from the enemy\u201d\u2026 And that\u2019s the difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Artificial Intelligence is not God. But it can be a tool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A tool to learn. The problem begins when it is used wrongly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n When it replaces prayer. We have also seen painful cases of young people who became emotionally dependent on Artificial Intelligence, treating it like a friend, a guide, or a voice of authority. Some ended up making terrible decisions because they trusted a machine more than God, their family, mature people, or real help. And this reminds us of something very serious: Artificial Intelligence can answer questions, but it cannot care for your soul. It can talk with you, but it cannot love you the way God loves you. It can give you information, but it should never take the place of your heart, your understanding, or your relationship with the Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At that point\u2026 it\u2019s no longer just technology. The Bible also warns us:<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cTest everything; hold on to what is good.\u201d (1 Thessalonians 5:21)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n It doesn\u2019t say \u201creject everything new.\u201d Discern. So\u2026 should we prohibit Artificial Intelligence?<\/p>\n\n\n\n If we think about it\u2026 we cannot prohibit something that is already part of the world we live in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But we can decide how it affects us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You can use it wisely\u2026 or let it control you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You can use it to grow\u2026 or to distract yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You can use it to bless\u2026 or to harm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The decision is not in the technology\u2026 it\u2019s in you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And here is something very important you must not forget:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Your relationship with God can never be replaced by any intelligence created by man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Never.<\/p>\n\n\n\n No machine can feel God\u2019s presence for you. That\u2019s why, more than fear\u2026 we need order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Use Artificial Intelligence\u2026 but don\u2019t stop praying. Because when God is at the center\u2026 everything else finds its proper place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I leave you with this reflection\u2026 not so you can be afraid, but so you can have clarity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Not everything new is bad\u2026 but everything must pass through God\u2019s filter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I invite you to join me in this prayer:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Lord, give me wisdom to live in this time. The intention comes from the heart of the person using it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The problem is not the knife\u2026 it\u2019s the hand holding it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
but there were also others who said, \u201chow can I use this to glorify God?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It does not replace God.
It has no authority over your life.
It cannot give you salvation or true spiritual direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To communicate.
To create content that touches lives.
To take the message further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When it substitutes reading the Bible.
When it becomes a source of truth above God.
When it is used to deceive, manipulate, or harm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It becomes a matter of the heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It says \u201cexamine it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Filter.
Pray.
And keep what builds you up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
No technology can repent for you.
No system can guide you better than the Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Learn with it\u2026 but don\u2019t stop reading the Bible.
Take advantage of its benefits\u2026 but don\u2019t depend on it for your faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Help me not to be led by fear, but also not by ignorance.
Teach me to use everything in my hands for Your glory.
Guard my heart from depending on things that do not come from You.
And help me keep You always at the center of my life.
