Around Him were several people. Peter was there, always attentive… John, with that deep, thoughtful gaze… but also ordinary people.

Matthew, who had left his tax table behind, walked quietly, lost in thought.
Sarah, a woman who had come looking for comfort, held her cloak tightly.
And Andrew, a curious young man, couldn’t stop the questions forming in his mind.

Suddenly, Jesus stopped.

In front of them, a man named Elias—a lifelong sower—was walking through the field with a bag of seeds hanging from his shoulder. His weathered hands grabbed handfuls of seed and scattered them with ease, like someone who had done this a thousand times.

Jesus lifted His eyes, watched the scene… and smiled gently.

“Look,” He said calmly… “a sower went out to sow.”

The group fell silent.

The wind picked up slightly, lifting a bit of dust from the path.

Elias threw another handful of seeds… and some fell right on the path, where the ground was hard, packed down by the constant steps of people.

Sarah narrowed her eyes.

Before long, birds came down quickly… and ate the seeds.

Jesus didn’t look away.

“Others,” He continued, “fell on rocky ground…”

Andrew glanced toward a part of the field where the soil was shallow.

There, the seeds sprouted quickly. They looked green, alive… full of promise.

But the sun began to rise higher.

The heat grew stronger… and those small plants, with no deep roots, began to bend… until they withered away.

Matthew swallowed. Something about that image unsettled him.

Jesus walked a few more steps.

“And other seeds… fell among thorns.”

Peter frowned.
