Sometimes it\u2019s not that we don\u2019t believe in God\u2026 it\u2019s that we\u2019re tired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tired of praying and not seeing change.
Tired of waiting for an answer that never comes.
Tired of fighting the same battles over and over again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And in the middle of that exhaustion, a very honest\u2026 very human prayer is born:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGod\u2026 increase my faith. Help me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I pray every day, I read the Bible, I try to do what\u2019s right\u2026 but when problems come, I fall. And then I feel ashamed before God. I feel like a hypocrite, I feel weak, I don\u2019t know what to do. And from the depths of my heart I say: \u201cLord, help me\u2026 increase my faith, give me peace, give me security\u2026 please, I\u2019m crying out, help me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That prayer doesn\u2019t come from someone strong\u2026
it comes from someone who can\u2019t do it alone anymore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There\u2019s a moment in the Bible that has always touched me deeply. A man comes to Jesus, desperate for his son, and says something that sounds contradictory, but is so real it hurts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI believe\u2026 help my unbelief.\u201d<\/strong> (Mark 9:24)<\/p>\n\n\n\n It\u2019s like saying: And the most beautiful part\u2026 is that Jesus didn\u2019t reject him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He didn\u2019t say, \u201cCome back when you have more faith.\u201d He listened\u2026 and He acted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n That changes everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Because it teaches us that faith is not perfection\u2026 it\u2019s dependence. Sometimes we think having faith means never doubting. It\u2019s when you say: That\u2026 that is faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Not the kind that impresses\u2026 There are days when you feel God close\u2026 and everything flows. And that\u2019s where many people give up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But maybe\u2026 that\u2019s exactly where your faith is growing the most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Because when everything looks good, anyone can believe. Maybe today you don\u2019t need more proof\u2026 Maybe God hasn\u2019t answered the way you expected\u2026 Sometimes God doesn\u2019t change the situation right away\u2026 And yes\u2026 it hurts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But it also shapes you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I want to leave you with this to hold deep in your heart:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Don\u2019t be afraid to tell God exactly how you feel. That simple, broken prayer\u2026 without perfect words\u2026 Because it comes from a real place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And God\u2026 always responds to what is real.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I invite you to pray this with me, just like this, no masks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Lord\u2026 You know my heart better than I do. There are moments when I trust\u2026 Today I\u2019m not pretending\u2026 God, increase my faith. I don\u2019t want to let go of You, even when I see nothing. \u201cYes, I trust\u2026 but I\u2019m also afraid.\u201d
\u201cYes, I know You can\u2026 but I don\u2019t know if You will do it for me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He didn\u2019t say, \u201cThat\u2019s not how it works.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\u2019s not having everything figured out\u2026 it\u2019s choosing to keep coming close, even when inside you feel confused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But the truth is, the most real kind of faith\u2026 is born in the middle of doubt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGod, I don\u2019t understand what You\u2019re doing\u2026 but I\u2019m still here.\u201d
\u201cGod, I don\u2019t see anything\u2026 but I\u2019m not letting go of You.\u201d
\u201cGod, it hurts\u2026 but I still believe You are here.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
but the kind that endures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But there are other days when you pray\u2026 and all you feel is silence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But when there are no signs, no answers, when everything hurts\u2026
and you still choose to trust\u2026 something deep is happening inside you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
maybe you need more trust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
but that doesn\u2019t mean He isn\u2019t working.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
because first He wants to strengthen your heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\u2019s not impressed by your perfection\u2026 He is moved by your honesty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGod, increase my faith\u2026 help me\u201d\u2026
can be more powerful than a thousand perfect prayers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
here I am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You know what I believe\u2026 and what I struggle to believe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
and moments when fear takes over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019m being honest with You.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When I doubt\u2026 hold me.
When I\u2019m tired\u2026 lift me up.
When I don\u2019t understand\u2026 teach me to trust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I don\u2019t want to give up, even when everything feels hard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
even if my faith is small.<\/p>\n\n\n\nGod, I can\u2019t do this alone\u2026 increase my faith.<\/a><\/blockquote>
