Pause for a moment\u2026
because this is not just a beautiful idea to share\u2026 it\u2019s a truth that, if you truly understand it, can change the way you face your entire life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We live rushing.
Rushing against time, against mistakes from the past, against things that didn\u2019t turn out the way we wanted\u2026 and also rushing toward a future we don\u2019t know, but worry about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There are days when we carry things no one sees:
unhealed guilt, decisions that still weigh on us, unanswered questions\u2026
and at the same time, fear.
Fear of what\u2019s coming, of losing, of failing again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And in the middle of all that\u2026 we try to hold ourselves together with whatever we have:
a person, an income, a routine, a distraction\u2026 anything that gives us a little stability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But the truth is this\u2026
all of that changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That\u2019s why when God reveals Himself in Revelation, He doesn\u2019t do it as a religious idea\u2026 He declares something that breaks everything we understand about time:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end,\u201d says the Lord, \u201cwho is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.\u201d (Revelation 1:8)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He doesn\u2019t say \u201cI was\u201d\u2026
He doesn\u2019t say \u201cI will be\u201d\u2026
He says: I am\u2026 the One who was\u2026 and the One who is to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
God is not trapped in time like we are.
For Him, your past is not distant\u2026 He sees it clearly.
Your present is not confusing\u2026 He understands it completely.
And your future\u2026 He already knows it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And this is where it stops being theory\u2026 and becomes personal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because you are trapped in time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There are things you\u2019ve done that you wish you could erase\u2026
moments that marked you\u2026 words you said\u2026 decisions you made\u2026
and sometimes you live as if that defines who you are today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But Christ was\u2026
and that means He already stepped into your past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He didn\u2019t just see it\u2026 He redeemed it.
On the cross, He didn\u2019t carry part of your story\u2026 He carried all of it.
Even the parts you still struggle to forgive yourself for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then there\u2019s your present\u2026 that place no one lives but you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Where you smile on the outside but feel tired on the inside\u2026
where you do the right thing but still feel empty\u2026
where you pray\u2026 but sometimes feel silence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And that\u2019s where Hebrews makes it clear:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cJesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.\u201d (Hebrews 13:8)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He is not the same only in the past\u2026
He is the same today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The same One who healed\u2026 still heals.
The same One who lifted\u2026 still lifts.
The same One who restored\u2026 still restores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You have not been ignored\u2026
you have not been forgotten\u2026
you are not walking alone, even if it feels that way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And then there\u2019s what unsettles us the most\u2026 the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That place where our mind fills with \u201cwhat if\u2026\u201d
What if I lose this?
What if it doesn\u2019t work?
What if everything goes wrong?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But when God says He is to come, He\u2019s not only talking about His return\u2026
He\u2019s declaring that your story is not left to chance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Your future is not in the hands of fear\u2026
it is in the hands of a God who was already there before you arrive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And when you understand this\u2026 something shifts inside you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You no longer need to control everything.
You no longer need to understand every step.
You no longer depend on everything going perfectly to have peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because your faith is no longer in what changes\u2026
it is in the One who never changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Let me leave you with this reflection\u2026
how much of your anxiety comes from trying to control what only God can sustain?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because when you try to carry what was never yours to carry\u2026 you break.
But when you rest in the One who is, was, and will be\u2026 you find something this world cannot give: real peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And before you go on with your day\u2026
I invite you to pray with me, from the heart\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lord\u2026
I have tried to understand everything, to control everything\u2026 and I am tired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I carry things from the past that still hurt\u2026
I feel unsettled in my present\u2026
and I am afraid of what\u2019s ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But today I remember who You are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The One who was\u2026 and redeemed my story.
The One who is\u2026 and walks with me now.
And the One who will be\u2026 and already holds my future in His hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Teach me to let go\u2026
to trust\u2026
and to rest in You, not in what I see.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
