Not because God wants us to live obsessed with material things, but because the way we use money reveals what is in our hearts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many people work hard, struggle, and try to get ahead\u2026 yet they still live with constant financial stress. It is not always a lack of income. Often it is management mistakes the Bible warned about thousands of years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here are ten of the most common ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Spending more than you earn<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is one of the most common mistakes today.<br>Credit cards, quick loans, impulsive purchases\u2026 everything seems easy at first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But the Bible clearly warns:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.\u201d (Proverbs 22:7)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When we live constantly in debt, we lose freedom.<br>God does not want us to live as slaves to debt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Learning to live within our means is a form of spiritual wisdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Not planning or organizing your money<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many people handle their finances without structure.<br>They don\u2019t know how much comes in, how much goes out, or where their money goes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Bible teaches something simple but very powerful:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty.\u201d (Proverbs 21:5)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Financial planning is not a lack of faith.<br>It is responsible stewardship of what God entrusts to us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Buying on impulse<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We live in a culture that constantly tells us:<br>\u201cIf you want it, buy it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But many purchases come from emotion, pressure, or comparison with others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Bible says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe simple believe anything, but the prudent give thought to their steps.\u201d (Proverbs 14:15)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wisdom means thinking before acting\u2014even with money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"4\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Not saving for the future<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many people live only for the present.<br>Everything that comes in goes right back out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yet the Bible gives us a powerful example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cGo to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise.\u201d (Proverbs 6:6)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ant works and prepares for the future.<br>Saving money is not a lack of trust in God; it is wisdom and responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"5\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Not being generous<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This point may seem surprising.<br>Some people think that if they give, they will have less.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But the Bible teaches the opposite:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cA generous person will prosper;
